Here the authentic and original Ankh, the key of the Immortality.
Only Kings, Queens and Gods were allowed to carry this symbol. The Ankh is the Egyptian sign of life and indicates that the King or the God holding it has the power to give life or take it away from lesser mortals.

The Grand Temple of Maat
Ankh is an Ancient Egyptian hieroglyph signifying “life,” a cross surmounted by a loop and known in Latin as a crux ansata (ansate, or
handle-shaped, cross). It is found in ancient tomb inscriptions, including those of the king TutAnkhamen, and gods and pharaohs are often depicted holding it. The Ankh forms part of hieroglyphs for such concepts as health and happiness. The form of the symbol suggests perhaps a sandal strap as its original meaning, though it has been seen as representing a magical knot. As a cross, it has been extensively used in the symbolism of the Coptic Christian church.
- As defined by Encyclopedea Britannica. Possibly derived from the shape of a sandal strap, the Ankh was the symbol of both physical and eternal life in ancient Egypt. Details of its origins with the Early Dynastic Period with the cults of Isis and Osiris have been lost, but its importance as a ritual symbol for life persisted throughout the Egyptian era. Jewelry and ornaments buried with the kings often bore this sacred hieroglyph. The Ankh adorned many ceremonial sites and in art it was frequently depicted in the hands of the gods. In the image at right, above, you can see Maat with Ankh. If you clicks this image you will jump to The Order of Maat website.
The Ankh can be traced to the Early Dynastic Period of Egypt, and appears f
requently in artwork and reliefs depicting the gods. The Ankh resembles a key and is considered the key to eternal life after death. Its influence was very strong throughout the dynastic periods and survives as an icon possessing mystical power throughout the Coptic Christian Era. In the photo at left you can see the “Ankh Osirian Grand Pendant (Capricornian)” used by some modern mystics. Among these powers, the Ankh was the key used to control the flow of water in the underground flow of the Nile, in the same manner as a tap is used in today’s faucets. Another theory suggest that the Ankh produced a high pitch ultrasound inaudible to the human ear, but effective in frightening wild animals like jackals and hyenas. This would have been especially useful in the ancient Egyptian wildernesses at night, protecting travelers from unseen dangers. Not only was the living protected, but the dead as well. Ultrasound has the effect of frightening insects, rodents and maggots that would devour the bodies of the deceased. By producing tiny air bubbles in the body of pests, the ultrasonic environment is very uncomfortable.
The Ankh of Maat was introduced into the modern Rosicrucianism by Sar Alden (Frater Profundis XIII), reorganizer of Akhenaten’s Mysteries School. To read about this matter jump please to Macarlo’s article published by The Order of Maat Supreme Grand Lodge.

The Mystery of the Ankh and Electromagnetism
Although commonly referred to as an “Egyptian cross”, the Ankh is an amulet representing Eternal Life, often worn or carried by African queens and kings of ancient Kemet to ward off evil spirits and ensure good health. The Order of Maat uses Ankh in secret ceremonies, for healing the sick, and also uses the virtual electromagnetic Ankh as a part of the Virtual Universal R+C Sanctuary (Rosicrucian Sanctum). Members of The Order of Maat also uses Ankh as the appropriate key to open the doors of Eternal Life, in conjunction with three secret words that causes the immediate termination of physical life in this Plane, Earth.
Ankh is also considered a symbol of femininity and fertility. The oval section at the top is representative of the womb, and the horizontal piece the ovaries. The long vertical section is said to represent the birth canal. In the book “The Ankh: African Origins of Electromagnetism”, the author, Nur Ankh Amen, asserts that the Ankh served more than mere symbolic purposes during ancient times. According to Amen, the shape of the Ankh, when wrapped in coils, allowed it to carry an electromagnetic charge. This assertion further supports the theories that ancient Africans were the first to experiment with and harness the power of electricity, unlike traditional educational curriculum has shown us. The author supports his theory by referring to Exodus 25:10-22, wherein lies a description of the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark, built by Moses (A BLACK Egyptian), was constructed with an overlay of pure gold. According to Amen, once the Ark was charged with an electrical current, only an individual who knew how to neutralize the charge could touch it without fear for his or her safety. If we are to embrace the many metaphoric stories of the Bible, this too would indicate that a knowledge of electricity existed in ancient times. Another interpretation of the Ankh presented by Amen is that the top loop represents eternal life, while the cross represents the material plane, a theory corresponding to the desire of our ancestors to achieve a higher state of consciousness within this world through spiritual cultivation. At Stonehedge in England, large volts of energy has been transmitted from a megalith to a wire shaped in the form of an Ankh.
The Ankh of Maat is instrumental in the realm of law and righteousness. Maat is the goddess of Truth, indispensable in the cause of Justice. The Ankh she is holding, is the Oracle of Truth, operating on a principle known as galvanic skin response (GSR). Named after the Italian experimenter, Luigi Galvani, who (re)discovered the reflex action of a frog’s leg to electrical stimulus, it is widely used as a part of a modern polygraph test (lie detectors). The conductivity of the skin varies with one’s emotional state and what make GSR so effective is how totally involuntary these skin responses are. An electrode is placed in the hand or taped to the finger of the subject and the conductivity or resistivity of the skin is measured in response to questioning. Changes in conductivity of the skin alters the capacitance of the Ankh, creating frequency changes as a result. By holding the Ankh this way, the emotional and spiritual responses can be communicated as a frequency modulated transmission. A high frequency oscillator, like the Ankh, has the advantage of producing high voltages at low current, so they can be handled safely. Nicolai Tesla discovered this much later, when he attached a high frequency coil to himself and produced corona-like discharges from his body. Luminous effects produced by high voltage high frequency coils are used today in Kirlian Photography. Objects appear to have a glowing aura around them, when subjected to high voltage.
